Hi Again! I went to Starbucks to try a snack that my friend has been raving about! She said that it was delicious and I NEEDED to try it! It was warm, cheesy and topped with a sweet and spiced plum topping. Time for a twist on that fun treat. I’m here to help you make the simplest raspberry cheese danish.
This recipe is perfect for the holiday season, it is quick, simple and requires minimal effort. Not the healthiest treat, but a perfect one to share with your friends.
Fruity, Cheesy and Cloud like!

The Danish Recipe
Cook Time: 13 min in the oven
Prep Time: 5 min
Ingredients:
1 sheet of puff pastry (thawed)
1/2 cup of Raspberry Preserves*
A sprinkle of cinnamon -1/6 teaspoon *optional
A sprinkle of nutmeg- 1/8 teaspoon *optional
4 oz of neufchâtel or cream cheese
1 teaspoon of sugar or splash of honey
A splash of Vanilla
Notes: *If you aren’t a raspberry fan then use only 1/4 cup of raspberry preserves
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
- Lay out thawed puff Pastry on a cutting board and cut into 9 squares. Put each square into a cupcake tray, sticking the corners to on the top/outside of each cupcake mold and the middle of the puff pastry towards the bottom. The puff pastry will turn into a little bowl. (My cupcake tray has room for 12 cupcakes, so I just left 3 empty.)
- Place Raspberry Preserves, cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl and fold until incorporated.
- In a separate bowl add your neufchâtel, splash of vanilla and 1 teaspoon of sugar or honey and mix well.
- Layer 1/9 of the neufchâtel mixture on each piece of the puff pastry.
- Layer 1/9 of the Raspberry preserves mixture on top of the neufchâtel layer.
- Bake at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10-13 minutes or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the preserves are melted. The preserves
- Enjoy warm 🙂 They taste amazing how they are.
Some Easy Alterations:
For extra fun, feel free to serve these danishes with a bit of dairy free vanilla ice cream, some coconut yogurt and strawberries, or add a chocolate chip to each danish when they come out of the oven if you love the raspberry and chocolate combo (my favorite combination).
I hope that this raspberry cheese danish brings you and your loved ones joy!
