  • Pumpkin Cake Bites 🎃 These are so good that I just had to take a bite! This recipe will be on the blog by Friday! Let me know if you would try it and who you share these with! These cake bites are super delicious and so easy to make since I cheated (used a box of pancake mix as my base @kodiakcakes #notsponsored) 🤣 They do have a secret ingredient... cake batter extract! It makes these bites buttery and extra delicious. 😋 These cake bites would pair beautifully with chocolate chips and whipped cream as well as a dark chocolate dairy free sorbetto or even some simple cream cheese frosting.   • This month has been a very enlightening time for me. I was able to prioritize what was truly important. I just got back from visiting my mom & siblings. Let me just say, wow! It feels entirely different to be in a place that feels so supportive and free. I got to roam around 10 acres of land surrounded by animals with the sun kissing my skin ever so effortlessly as I made my way around recognizing all of the changes (trees have fallen, wild flowers have grown and the lake has more water than usual). On the way to the airport, I spoke to my mom about what work meant to me and how to find ways to start prioritizing my life a little differently. She has always been a great listener and I appreciate her daily! :) Anyways, this last month has been a time for me to breathe deeply, let go of the anxiety, stress, uncertainty and step into a place of stability, peace and happiness. I wish you all time to take a breath, enjoy some simplicity and recognize the ones around you who appreciate your presence. I hope that you stay kind, eat well and get inspired! Alexis
  • Happy Sunday! I hope all is well with you. I'm using today to train with Bella, hang out with my ❤ and bake a quiche. Even when things don't always go as planned try to find a glimmer of light in the darkness or a smile in a sea of frowns. Please send all of your positive thoughts my way.
